Meet the maker

My name is Lachlan. I started doing design and 3D modelling work in 2020, when I was 15, where I drew my first sketch of a liquid chrome-style ring on the back of my math notebook. This design didn’t go any further for 3 more years, till 2023 when I got my first 3D printer, and I printed my first mock-up ring to test my size. I spent the next 3 years designing rings and printing them in different sizes to master it, while I searched for a manufacturer to make my designs come to reality. I eventually stumbled upon sand casting, and after some testing, decided to move forward, creating the first iterations of my design for the Ashmark ring.
